I remember.

those old black and white pictures, standing on the top of a dusty chimney.

He's carrying a little boy. The boy is very tiny, blond, something like three years old. He looks so fragile, And a bit impressed by the old man. The boy holds a teddy bear in his arms. You already know this boy.

Another picture. The old man carries the same young boy on his shoulders. The boy laughs and seems so happy. The old man too.

Another picture again. Now the boy looks older, more like fifteen years old, he has longer hair. He's looking at a paper sleeve covered of mathematics furmulas. The old man tries to explain how it works to the boy. The old man can seem boring but the boy will be thankful to the old man who have helped him to succeed at school that year.

Now the last picture. The old man is older than ever. He's lying in a hospital bed, All plugged to complex devices. The boy is also there, holding the old man's hand and trying to not cry while the old man blesses him with his hand as a last goodbye.

But he cries anyway.
